Florida State Kappa Delta
Florida State Kappa Delta

We encourage every woman interested in taking the next step in her FSU career to participate in formal sorority recruitment. During formal recruitment, participants will get the chance to visit all 17 chapters within our Panhellenic community to catch a glimpse into each sisterhood and have the potential opportunity to receive a bid from a chapter. The relationships made and the experiences had during recruitment truly have a lasting impact on the women and their Florida State journeys. For more information and to register for formal recruitment, please visit the Florida State Panhellenic Association's official website:

A letter from our recruitment chair:

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Ashlyn Rodriguez and I am Kappa Delta’s 2019 Vice President of Membership. If you have found yourself on this page, I can only guess you’re wanting to learn about the recruitment process here at Florida State University and I would love to share with you why I fell in love with this experience.

FSU Panhellenic is a unique organization which unites women of all different backgrounds. Participating in the recruitment process is an incredibly rewarding way to challenge yourself to evolve your own attributes and grow in ways you would never have thought possible. The day I ran home to KD was the day I discovered a piece of my life that I didn't realize had been missing. I have not only become a more motivated, extraverted, and selfless version of myself, but I also spend every day surrounded by women who have now become my family during the overwhelming roller coaster that college can be. These women constantly encourage me to act as a better friend, student, daughter, and leader. My sisters cherish and love the person I am, and most importantly, they never let me forget the home I have in KD.

As Kappa Deltas, we strive every day for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest, and each year we continue to recruit women who live out their lives in this manner. My hope is that you find a home that allows you to do nothing short of the same. If you decide to embark on this journey, my greatest wish is for you to ultimately find yourself surrounded by sisters who bring out the BEST YOU, just as I did in KD. I am so excited for you and all that is about to come your way- I look forward to meeting you in the fall!

in Panhellenic love,

Ashlyn Rodriguez

Vice President of Membership
